Welcome to Rathgar Junior School

OUR WEEKLY NEWS - UPDATED EVERY MONDAY

FOLLOWING THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION'S DECISION TO CLOSE ALL SCHOOLS IN THE STATE AND OUR OWN SAFETY CONCERNS AS A RESULT OF THE CONSEQUENCES OF MONDAY'S SEVERE WEATHER, RATHGAR JUNIOR SCHOOL WILL REMAIN CLOSED ON TUESDAY, 17TH OCTOBER.

Monday 16th - Friday 20th October 2017

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the school's Copper Collection in aid of The Peter McVerry Trust.  We hope to have a total for the amount donated as soon as possible - many thanks to Mrs. Derham and Form Five for taking the time to count the coins.

Following the visit of Susan from Team Hope to assembly last week, we have now launched our Christmas Shoebox appeal.  All the children have a leaflet with all the information required.  We would be delighted to receive finished shoeboxes as early as possible - the closing date is Friday 10th November - thanks so much for supporting this very worthy cause.

Monday's visit to Dubray Books is cancelled due to the school closure.

On Wednesday 18th October Form Three will present their assembly to the rest of the school.

On Thursday 19th October Form Four will visit the Natural History Museum.
