OUR WEEKLY NEWS - UPDATED EVERY MONDAY

Monday 19th February - Friday 23rd February 2018

On Monday 19th February the school will reopen for the full day, following our midterm break.  Chess Club will run as usual.  

Also on Monday 19th the Boys Hockey team will play an away match against Rathfarnham NS at Three Rock Rovers HC.  The match will start at 2:30pm.  Congratulations to the boys on their recent 1-0 win over Sandford National School.

On Tuesday 20th February we will celebrate "RJS Pancake Tuesday" a week after the official date.  We will hold our traditional outdoors assembly including pancake race, followed by pancakes for all freshly cooked in the Gym.

On Wednesday 21st February Form Two will go on their outing to Marsh's Library, as a follow-up to author Amanda Bell's visit to the school earlier in the year.

Also on Wednesday 21st Form Six will visit the Irish Jewish Museum in Portobello as a part of their Comparative Religions studies.

On Thursday 22nd February Kindergarten A will go on a nature walk to Belgrave Square.

Also on Thursday 22nd our hockey practice will take place in YMCA grounds on Claremont Road, Sandymount.

On Friday 23rd February the first of our Movie Afternoons will take place, for Kindergarten A and B, from 1:30-3:00pm.  Please note Choir and Playball will run as normal.
