On Wednesday 13th April Form One presented our assembly to the school. We had a lot of fun performing a dramatised version of the picture book ‘Handa’s Surprise’ by Eileen Browne.
We all had lines to learn and some of us had masks to make too. The story is set in Kenya, Africa, so we used African fruits and African animals to help us tell our story. The story included a giraffe, monkey, ostrich and antelope.
We really enjoyed performing for the school and Mrs Maguire was very proud of us all.
