Form 2 have been learning about buoyancy in Science class and how the shape of an object determines its ability to float. We split into groups and got a lump of modelling clay each. We quickly found out that it had to have the shape of a bowl or boat in order not to sink. We then started tweaking our boats to see how many cubes they would be able carry before they sank.
We had a great time doing our experiments. Afterwards we went back up to class to record our findings and draw a diagram of our experiment.
