On Monday 25th April Form Six enjoyed a great trip to Newtown Junior School in Waterford. We played four hockey matches, with mixed teams of boys and girls, playing in a wonderful atmosphere of friendship and good sport.
After our matches we were welcomed into the Senior School canteen where we shared a delicious hot meal with the 5th and 6th Class pupils of Newtown. Before our departure we were each presented with a goody bag for the trip home.
It was a great day out and we would like to thank all the staff and pupils of Newtown for their generosity and for making us feel so welcome. Both schools look forward to continuing our friendship into the future, and we will be hosting Newtown for a similar visit early in the next school year.
