Form One have had great fun experimenting with nature to create art work. First we explored how textures and print can be made from the bark of the trees in our garden, then we used leaves to create leaf prints. Form One enjoyed using a variety of colours to build tone that we often see in fallen leaves. We also looked at the veins in a leaf and discussed how these are important to transport food, water and minerals to the plant. We really enjoyed experimenting with art and nature and learning more about science at the same time!
