Farm Fun by Form One (& Thanks from Miss O’Brien)

On Monday, May 15th, Form One set off for a day of fun to Airfield Estate.

The day began with a guided tour of the farm, where we met hungry calves and lazy pigs. Not to forget, the very popular, Charlie and her new born calf.

After lunch, the students enjoyed playing in the large open spaces and enclosed tunnels. The perfect spot for imaginative play and fun.

There was great excitement during the Nature Hunt, when Form One became Nature Detectives  to explore tiny creatures. We even found some frogs!

We finished the day with some planting, where everyone had the choice to plant peas or a sunflower.

A great day was had by all!

Thank You

I would like to thank all Form One students and parents for a wonderful year. I have had the most wonderful time in Form One, watching the class learn, mature and develop independence. Thank you all for the support throughout the year.

Have a lovely summer and all the best for Form Two.
