As part of our Science topic on Fruit and Vegetables, we planted runner beans. They stayed on our class windowsill for nearly three weeks, soaking up the sunlight and drinking water. Their leaves turned towards the sun every day. Each morning we turned them and by the end of the day, they had turned towards the sun again. We took our plants home and hopefully, some of us will have beans to eat in the summer.
