This week in Form 1 we have been learning all about Chinese New Year. In Art, we have made dragons and lucky packets with good luck wishes inside. On Friday we did our Class Assembly on the story of the twelve animals of the Chinese calendar. This year is the Year of the Rat. One of our parents very kindly came into class and taught us how to write the Chinese blessing ‘fú’ in Chinese characters. She also showed us how to make Chinese dumplings. We had fun tasting them. It has been a great week in Form 1
