On Wednesday, Form 6, travelled back in time by 70 years as they lived the day as 1950’s school pupils. The costumes were fantastic and they took part in lessons and activities such as: the daily nit check, etiquette lessons, atom bomb drills, music and movement P.E. class, sardine sandwich tasting, chivalry lessons, and 1950’s style maths and English lessons. All of this was enforced rigorously with the threat of ‘lines’ should there be misbehaviour. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait until we try the next decade.
