We have had so much fun over the past month exploring the topic of minibeasts in Kindergarten B. We read many different stories relating to this theme – ” What the ladybird heard”, ” Superworm ” and ” The very hungry caterpillar “.
In Art we made lovely ladybirds and we dyed kitchen roll paper to make stunning butterflies.
In maths we counted bugs in a jar and made a minibeast block diagram.
In P.E we played minibeast games – “slither like a slug”, ” scuttle like a woodlouse”, and “dance like a bee” to name but a few.
We finished this topic by going on a Nature and minibeast scavenger hunt in Belgrave square.
