Weekly News - Monday 6th - Friday 17th May 2019

On Monday 6th May the school will be closed for the Public Holiday.

On Tuesday 7th May the school will re-open with our regular timetable - Games and swimming will both run as usual.

On Wednesday 8th May we will enjoy our annual Ice Cream Day in support of Down Syndrome Ireland.  Many thanks to the parents for running this event.  All pupils will donate €2.00 towards this excellent cause.

On Monday 13th May Chess Club will resume for the short Summer term.

On Wednesday 15th May we will celebrate the joy and gift of music in the school with our annual Music Day.  Over seventy children from Kindergarten B to Form Five will be playing instruments, in addition to performances from each of these classes as well as the RJS School Choir.  Miss Bowens has worked very hard in preparing each class and family and friends are warmly invited to share in this special morning - details of times to be circulated to each class.

On Friday 17th May our annual Junior Sports Day will take place in Terenure Sports Club.  All children from Kindergarten A through to Form Two will need to be collected from the school at 11:00am and brought to the sports grounds for an 11:30 start.  We hope that sun will shine on this happy, fun morning together.
