Chess Club operates on Monday afternoons between 3.15pm and 4.15pm for Forms 5 & 6. Also a second session is on Fridays between 1:30pm – 2:30pm for our Form 3 & 4 students. This is a very popular extra curricular activity which is available to children from Forms 3 – 6, depending on availability. Our children develop their skills through the direction and guidance of Mr. Fred Murphy, who has been leading the club for over ten years.
Each year RJS welcome teams from other schools, when we host the AIJS Chess Tournament – always a fun yet serious event.
